Block Therapy is done lying down on a yoga mat as you relax and breathe using your diaphragm enabling you to work through scar tissue. This therapy is excellent for anxiety, depression, pain and headaches. A cedar Block Buddy™ and other equipment are provided for the class.

There are three parts to the Block Therapy classes:

  1. Core and Back –Release the compressed tissue in your stomach and rib cage to get deeper access to the diaphragm muscle. This helps benefit all the systems in the body with better functioning of the diaphragm which dramatically increases oxygenation to the cells and the abdominal organs. Heart and lungs receive improved blood and energy flow allowing the body to function more efficiently as a whole. This class wraps up with some amazing back positions.
  2. Pelvis and Legs –Melt the compressed tissue in your pelvis and legs and improve circulation to your organs of reproduction. It all benefits muscle function and improves the appearance of tissue.
  3. Head, Neck, and Arms – Melt the compressed tissue in your upper body, arms, neck, and face. This improves muscle function and tissue appearance and realigns the head taking pressure away from the upper back and neck. Increased circulation benefits all the structures in the area, including the brain, hair, eyes, and thyroid gland. This provides an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin.

Feel more calm, relaxed, and at peace with yourself by learning the ancient techniques of Raja Yoga meditation. You will learn the basic steps to be able to practice at home. Students will have the ability to think outside the box when it comes to long debated questions such as "who am I?". This course would lead to better understanding the self. Meditation commentaries are used and handouts provided. Regular meditators are welcome to join for a refresher.
