This course places emphasis on tone, pronunciation, and pinyin (Chinese pronunciation represented by English letters), giving beginners the basics needed to speak with confidence and accuracy. Learn practical vocabulary such as greetings, numbers and time. You will be able to read and write basic simplified Chinese characters and sentences.
