MACHINING


This 20-hour hands on machining course is designed to expose all level of students to the introductory skills of machining metal. At the end of this course students will be able to perform various metal manufacturing techniques which include: using metal working hand tools and precision measuring, safely operate a Mill, Lathe, Drill press, Pedestal Grinder and CNC Mill. *CNC (Computer Assisted Manufacturing Programming) will be offered if time is available during the course (limited computer access). Projects that will be completed are a 3D puzzle, machine shop tools, and CNC engraving. Any returning machining students will be provided more advanced training.

Lab fee of $60 payable to the instructor at the first night.
